Why a Legacy is Important
for...You
- A legacy perpetuates your memory. By leaving a legacy your name
will be honored on a donor plaque, in a book or other memorial.
- Often in our lifetimes we would like to give generously to charity,
but circumstances may prevent us from doing so. A gift in your will
is an opportunity to fulfill your urge to help others.
- The Jewish community cannot rely on outside sources of funding.
We have a duty to contribute to the welfare of our own people.

Ohel Sarah
- We need your financial support to continue helping our children
on a daily basis in Israel.
- Your contribution will help those with great needs including Autism,
Down's syndrome and Learning Disabilities to lead more fulfilling
and happier lives.
- Ohel Sarah today is benefiting from funds left by generous donors
of yesterday. If you won't leave a legacy today, how will we function
tomorrow?
'Even as, when you entered, you found saplings
that others planted, so you are to plant for your children'.
A legacy will help future generations at Ohel Sarah.
- Every contribution, no matter how small, can be used to great
effect. Please note that...
- A legacy to a charity is very cost effective,
because it is exempt from inheritance tax. For example, if your
estate exceeds £250,000, a gift of £1,000 to charity will only cost
your beneficiaries £600.
